Principal Consultant: Evaluation

We are specifically looking for a Principal Consultant to expand our evaluation business, with an emphasis on health, social care, local government and workforce. Our business in this area is already rapidly growing and you will take a lead role in winning new business, building contacts and consolidating our reputation for leading edge, academically rigorous and client focused work.
An ideal candidate will have experience in the design and delivery of a range of applied evaluation methods for the public, private and charitable sectors. You will be a credible evaluation professional with a strong track record and demonstrable experience of work winning and business development.
You will be agile, adaptable and comfortable working intensively with senior level stakeholders, leading large group sessions with the public and engaging in depth with seldom heard groups.
You will need the flexibility to work across a range of disciplines and would ideally be able to demonstrate how you can contribute to the growth of our portfolio of evaluation projects. Equally you will be flexible and be able to support wider projects at Traverse beyond the core evaluation role.
Experience is essential. This role involves directing complex, sensitive projects, large programmes of work and supporting and overseeing the work of project teams. The post holder will play a key role in the delivery of high quality, profitable projects and in developing Traverse’s reputation with clients and partners. You must engender confidence in our clients and end users.
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary: £51-£84k+ dependent on role and experience.

We also fully support flexible working. While core hours will be required, these roles may be performed from any location in the UK. Our main office is based in London, but remote working may be a possibility.
