We are specifically looking for a Principal Consultant to expand our business within the health and social care sector. Our business in this area is already rapidly growing and you will take a lead role in winning new business, building contacts and a reputation for leading edge, academically rigorous and client focused work.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the health and social care context in England, including current policy priorities and challenges facing the sector. You will have the ability to engage credibly and confidently with senior stakeholders on these topics and spot business opportunities within this landscape. You are likely to have a track record in stakeholder engagement, research and evaluation of health and social care initiatives.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working intensively with senior level stakeholders, engaging with health and social care professionals at the coal face, leading large group sessions with the public and engaging in depth with patients and seldom heard groups.

You will need the flexibility to work across a range of disciplines: you will focus on the health and social care sector, but you’ll need to be agile and adaptable, open to taking on areas of work that make use of your expertise in new ways.

Experience is essential. This role involves directing complex or sensitive projects, large programmes of work and supporting and overseeing the work of project teams. The post holder will play a key role in the delivery of high quality, profitable projects and in developing Traverse’s reputation with clients and partners. You must engender confidence in our clients and end users.

Remuneration & Benefits

Salary: £51-£84k+ dependent on role and experience.

We also fully support flexible working. While core hours will be required, these roles may be performed from any location in the UK. Our main office is based in London, but remote working may be a possibility.
